Every Newroz, the mountains ignite…
But this year, there are those who want to turn the fire into a candle…
And the revolution into an (ethical lecture) about coexistence.
Abdullah Öcalan’s latest message is not a Newroz speech,
but a statement of domestication… wrapped in philosophical language.
He says: (It is in our hands to turn chaos into a spring of peoples).
But the truth is:
The chaos he speaks of is nothing but a historic opportunity to liberate Kurdistan… not dissolve it.
Newroz… Not Against Nationalism, But Born From It
Kawa the Blacksmith did not rise to establish (democratic integration) with the tyrant,
he rose to smash his head.
Newroz is not a symbolic philosophy of (coexistence),
but a clear declaration:
If chains are not broken… necks will be.
Turning Newroz into a discourse against (nationalism)
is like extinguishing the fire of الثورة in the name of humanity.
(The Disease of Nationalism) or the Disease of Surrender?
Öcalan says: we must abandon the (disease of nationalism).

Fine…
But let’s translate that into reality:
• Is Kurdish nationalism a disease?
• Or is Turkish occupation the disease?
When a prisoner in İmralı asks you to abandon your nationalism,
while his jailer builds a Turkish nationalist empire…
you are not hearing a call for peace,
you are hearing Ankara echoing inside the cell.
Coexistence… Under Whose Chains?
He speaks of (brotherhood among peoples)…
But what kind of brotherhood is this?
• Is there brotherhood between jailer and prisoner?
• Between the one who bans your language… and the one asked to forget it?
Real coexistence is not born under occupation,
but after liberation.
Any discourse that calls for coexistence before freedom
is a soft management of subjugation.
From Westphalia to İmralı: Smart Analogy… or Misleading?
Talking about the Treaty of Westphalia is academically elegant,
but applying it to Kurdistan… is misleading.
Europe ended its wars after building nation-states,
but we…
are asked to abandon the state before even creating it!
This is not thought…
it is political engineering to keep Kurds without an entity.
(Democratic Modernity)… The New Name for the Same Chain
All these terms:
(democratic integration – democratic nation – ecological modernity…)
sound beautiful…
but they hide one question:
Where is Kurdistan?
If a project does not end with a Kurdish state,
it does not begin with freedom…
it ends with dissolution.
The Unspoken Truth
Newroz is not a moment of (philosophical reflection),
but a moment of decision:
Either you are Kawa…
or you are part of the victim’s story repeated every year.
We do not need a (spring of peoples) under the supervision of those who occupy us,
we need:
A spring of Kurdistan… with full sovereignty.
We do not need to abolish nationalism,
but to restore its dignity.
We do not need a new philosophy,
but an old courage… called:
Freedom.
Final Words
• A homeland is not built by concepts… but by borders.
• Freedom is not granted… it is taken.
• And whoever fears the word (state)… will remain without land.
Newroz Joke (Two Lines)
They said: abandon nationalism… and live as brothers!
We said: fine… first open the prisons… then we’ll talk about love
